Popular European group comes to NMSU

Popular European band of London, ZUM will be performing at the New Mexico State University Atkinson’s Recital Hall on Feb. 25 as part of the ASNMSU Cultural Series.
    ZUM, which has played in most countries of Eastern Europe, bring their eclectic musical styling of classic folk music, tango and gypsy music to the NMSU campus. Using instruments such as the violin, piano, bass, cello and accordion make up the worldly sounds of ZUM. While touring, ZUM has released six best selling CDs and will be bringing the same fun anesthetic of their music to entertain not only students,, but Las Cruces as well that they use in Europe and other venues.
    If students would like to attend this event, tickets are on sale through the Pan Am ticket office for $15, or they can be purchased online through www.ticketmaster.com.
